Bruce Freeman serves as President of Castle & Cooke's Mainland Communities; responsible for development on new residential master planned communities, retail shopping centers, industrial development, office development, apartment development, active adult communities, and golf courses on the mainland United States (i.e., excludes Hawaii).

Bruce Freeman holds a B.A from Harvard College and a M.B.A. from Stanford University School of Business. He serves on the California State Bakersfield Foundation Board of Trustees, the Chairmans Circle for the Kern Economic Development Corporation, the Board of Directors for the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra, and will be serving on the Board of Directors for the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce in 2007.
